This was a set I built for "Scene" in 2009. The film was a parody of the movie Saw, so I had to build a large bathroom area. However, I also had less than $200 as a set decorating budget... and most of that went to buying the toilet!
This was created by stretching some old canvas fabric across the walls and covering it with a layer of plaster so that it would crack and crumble, giving the walls a very dilapidated look. The pipes and vents were made with painted PVC pipe and long boxes covered in tin foil and duct tape.
When the lights were brought down, the set had a very creepy vibe to it!
